This one of a kind saw frame is embellished with file decoration and ornamented with 24K gold wire inlay and overlay, or nunome zogan. Each one of the saw’s components was precisely forged before being hand filed, fit, and finished. It is heat treated to give it the proper rigidity and then set on a turned rosewood handle with a steel ferrule.
